Chance brought us together. We met, each of us oceans away from our homes. Encouraged by a series of unpredicted events, our worlds collided. We knew from that point forward our life together would be filled with adventure.

Adventurous our wedding day was too. A handcrafted outdoor wedding in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, friends and family traveling across the world to be with us. Every last detail thought out, created and planned together. All the while knowing, there was one thing we couldn’t plan for – though as they say, every cloud has a silver lining.

After the mayhem of the last minute rain induced changes, a temporarily flawed dress and close to an hours delay, our amazing guests packed themselves cozily in to our marquee. With the soft sound of the raindrops above and the buzz of everyone snuggled close together, we read our self-written vows to one another surrounded by the ones we love. Those dark clouds resulted in the most intimate and romantic atmosphere we could never have choreographed…it was perfect.

Looking back, we can truly say we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Just as we dreamt, our day went on to be filled with love, laughter and celebration. The breathtaking images speak for themselves, timelessly capturing the feelings and moments we can now cherish eternally.

We can never translate the gratitude we have for the time, love and dedication our closest friends and family offered in the days prior. The credit goes especially to you guys for making our day magical. Forever thankful to you all, for embracing and being a part of our adventure… rain or shine.

Love Holly + Serhat
